IOS Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Software Engineer to work on Kuda's native iOS mobile application. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining applications, ensuring performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industry experience, proficiency in Swift Packet Manager and Cocoa Touch, and familiarity with various frameworks and APIs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience (ideally working in a start-up or scale-up)
• Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
• Proficient with Swift Packet Manager and Cocoa Touch
• Proficiency with UIKit/SwiftUI in building user interfaces
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and human interface guidelines
• Experience with performance and memory management tools such as Profile Instruments
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Familiar with CI/CD

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
