Summary

Join Virta Health, a company transforming type 2 diabetes and weight-loss care, as an IT Administrator in Denver. You will support over 1,000 employees across the U.S., working with a team to build a modern support desk and automation platform. Responsibilities include user support for Mac, Google Workspace, and other systems; office support for video conferencing and technology needs; and Tier 1 IT support. You will also perform system administration tasks, manage endpoint management, and contribute to the migration to an AI-first support platform. This role requires experience with Apple Macs, Jamf, Okta, and Google Workspace, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also possess scripting experience and familiarity with various support tools.

Requirements

  • Lives near the Denver office <1hour commute to reach office in emergencies
  • Experience working with Apple Macs, hardware, performance, application troubleshooting
  • Admin Experience with Jamf, Okta, Google workspace (two out of three)
  • Patient and empathetic with helping people that are new to macs and not very computer experienced

Responsibilities

  • Handle end user support issues on Mac, Google Workspace, Slack, Okta and other company systems
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, role changes and other business processes
  • Manage the Denver offices Video Conferencing Systems and other technology needs
  • Be onsite for events to provide IT Support ~1/month
  • Tier 1 IT Support for the Mountain timezone, averaging 4 hours per day
  • 16% of nights and weekend on-call for rare urgent issues
  • Perform configuration changes on key systems Jamf, Okta and Google Workspace
  • Identify areas for improvement and automation
  • Help with OS and Application Updates, Onboarding, Offboarding and other routine procedures
  • Learn Virta Systems you will be administering
  • Okta, Jamf, Slack
  • Meet Key Stakeholders
  • Complete Project Plans for Next Quarter
  • Migrating to a AI first support platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic scripting experience Bash, Python
  • Github Fluency
  • Experience with office management, working with video conferencing equipment, cameras, basic network troubleshooting and event management
  • Has supported Executives, doing β€œWhite Glove” Support
  • Zendesk/Jira ticket system experience
  • Working with PHI or in a HIPPA regulated company or other highly regulated, secure, compliant industry
  • Working with a hypergrowth start up or recent IPO
