Summary
Join PrudentRx as an analytical IT Business Analyst (ITBA) and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. You will facilitate custom software development using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), create detailed documentation, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams. This remote position requires 7+ years of experience in IT business analysis and technical documentation, along with proficiency in various software and strong organizational skills. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience working as a business analyst within the IT space
- 7+ years of writing technical documents, workflows, and diagrams
- Broad knowledge of IT concepts and applications
- Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban processes, ceremonies, and user story generation
- Proficient with Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Proactive self-starter with critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis
- Create detailed functional specifications, requirements documents, project plans/task trackers, use cases, user stories, and process flows
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring clear and effective communication
- Grooming backlogs, managing stakeholders, etc
- Identify and recommend solutions to improve business processes and systems
- Facilitate and involve custom software development with a strong knowledge of Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban), conduct the related meetings/ceremonies, and craft actionable, properly sized user stories with acceptance criteria both from requirements and customer input while assisting developers with grooming and sprint preparation
- Professionally write documents, including but not limited to policies, processes, procedures, work instructions, training documents, business and technical requirements, project plans, task trackers, and test scripts, as well as supporting workflows and other necessary diagrams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus (e.g., CBAP, PMP, PMI-ACP)
- Prior experience in Azure DevOps and Halo
- Knowledge of SDLC and PMI methodologies
- Advanced skills in Excel and Visio/Lucid Chart
