Summary

MissionWired is seeking an IT Engineer to join their team. The role involves ensuring the secure and efficient deployment of endpoints and applications, implementing new software and hardware solutions, managing data migrations, planning and executing IT infrastructure projects, serving as an advanced help desk resource, and implementing advanced security controls.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex actions with simple steps
  • Ability to exercise patience
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across teams with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • Experience configuring and administering key IT platforms, including: HRIS platforms like Rippling, identity providers and application deployment tools like Google, Microsoft, Rippling, or Okta, productivity platforms like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, endpoint deployment tools like Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management like Rippling or Intune, help desk ticketing and automation systems like Jira

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring secure and efficient deployment of endpoints and applications
  • Implementing and configuring new software and hardware solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Managing data migrations across different platforms and applications
  • Planning and executing IT infrastructure projects, including system migrations, integration of redundant systems and provisioning of physical office space
  • Serving as an advanced help desk resource, troubleshooting complex issues with user endpoints and applications
  • Implementing advanced security controls across IT infrastructure, staff endpoints and user accounts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating acquired companies into a parent platform company is a significant plus
  • Experience with nonprofit organizations and political campaigns is a plus
