IT Intern

The ideal candidate will be a freshman, sophomore, or junior with a 3.0 GPA or higher, pursuing a technical major. The internship is for a year or longer and requires successful completion of a background check and reference checks. Interns will work in a business casual environment and participate in fun activities. The hourly rate is $16.00.

Requirements

• Be a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior Standing
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be majoring in Computer Science, BIA, MIS, FinTech or some other technical major
• Successfully complete IPG Background Investigation and Reference Checks
• Be eligible to work in the U.S. for other than practical training
• Familiarize yourself and comply with all information security and compliance rules, regulations and policies

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and escalation for many IPG operating companies and sites
• Supply and maintain the core hosting equipment that supports IPG’s business
• Provide a global messaging platform consisting of user-friendly e-mail services, active directory, and mobile communication devices
• Centrally support and manage the global data and voice services for the organization
• Provide support for a variety of business applications
• Oversee system transformation and integration
• Provide on-site IT assistance related to hardware and account administration
