IT Operations Technician

Summary

Join Donorbox, a leading fundraising platform, as a part-time IT Operations Technician! This fully remote role, based in Eastern Europe, Latin America, or the United States, supports our global team. You will troubleshoot technical issues, manage IT tickets, and maintain documentation. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of IT support experience, strong Mac skills, and excellent communication abilities. This part-time position (4-6 hours/day) offers competitive hourly pay ($11.50-$30 USD) and the benefit of fully remote work.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software, particularly in Mac environments
• Understanding of MDM solutions
• Experience with Google Workspace
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Customer-oriented approach with a focus on providing excellent service

Responsibilities

• Track, document and manage IT issues and resolutions through a ticketing system
• Provide detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolution
• Maintain and update technical documentation
• Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktop computers, laptops, and network connectivity
• Provide technical support primarily for Mac workstations, with some exposure to Windows and Linux systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working remotely
• Prior experience working with a helpdesk/IT ticketing system
