Summary

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a background in court reporting, case management systems, and Agile development teams for a fully remote position with less than 10% travel. The candidate will manage projects related to case management systems, mitigate risks, and ensure effective integration of these systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in court reporting or a related legal field
  • In-depth knowledge of case management systems and their implementation in legal environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile development teams
  • Excellent risk and issue management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple projects related to case management systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Leverage your experience in court reporting to provide valuable insights and ensure that case management systems meet the specific needs of legal and court-related functions
  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of case management systems, ensuring they align with the organization’s objectives and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams to facilitate the integration of new features and functionalities into case management systems, ensuring smooth transitions and user satisfaction
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues related to case management systems and project delivery, developing contingency plans as necessary
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and outcomes
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including risk logs, issue logs, and project status reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
  • Guide and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
