IT Support Engineer

Summary

Join Sterlington, an international law firm, as an IT Support Engineer working remotely on weekends only. This role involves managing the firm's Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and MS Office 365 applications. You will monitor infrastructure, coordinate with vendors, and provide application support. The position requires strong experience in IT end-user support, system administration, and MS Office 365 administration. Compensation is based on experience and location. This is a 20-hour per week independent contractor position.

Requirements

• Strong experience with IT End-User Support/Helpdesk & System Administration
• Strong experience administering Email and MS Office 365 application, Azure and Active Directory
• Good English language skills to communicate and resolve issues with US/UK colleagues

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the Firm’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
• Manage MS365 administration, set up, configuration, password changes etc
• Monitor Infrastructure and perform regular health-checks
• Coordinating with external vendors for any additional platform support
• Application support performing Time Entry records administration on the LPM platform
• Client and Matter onboarding and management on behalf of billable team members
• Documentation and reporting monitoring system performance and report any issues to IT engineers
• Compile data and generate reports on operational activities using system-generated and other information
• Maintain and Manage IT Reports & Dashboards
• New User/Partner Onboarding and support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Any other duties as dictated by business requirements or CTO

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Teams, SharePoint and other applications beneficial
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent will be a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS infrastructure
