Requirements

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and South Korean financial regulations
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, Payroll, and general ledger activities
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting activities
• Manage the month-end close, including preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements
• Ensure compliance with external auditors and prepare schedules for annual audits
• Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and systems
