Junior Accountant, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team at PrimeRx, a dynamic healthcare technology company. The Junior Accountant will manage the company's financial operations, including month-end close journal entries, account reconciliations, AP/AR tasks, data systems integration, compliance reporting, and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
• Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Research and present month-over-month variance analysis for GAAP and MGMT reporting
• Support data systems integration and reconciliation
• Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
• Support the Manager of Finance to coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for timely completion of annual audit reports and tax filings
• Support A/R and A/P with various functions
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
• Continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
• Support CFO and the Manager of Finance with special projects as requested

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Intacct and/or Zoho
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including strong team building skills
• Personal drive, energy and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with high expectations for responsiveness
• Able to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
