Summary
The Junior Analyst will assist in preparing detailed cost models for proposal submissions as a member of the pricing, capture, and proposal development teams at Redhorse Corporation. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to facilitate and communicate complex ideas to colleagues at all levels in oral, written and briefing format
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment while successfully managing the day-to-day repetitive tasks of the role
- Willing to take direction, deliver results, and demonstrate a desire and an ability to work independently as skills and knowledge progress
- Capacity to work with a variety of work-styles and personalities
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office software suite and various contract and accounting software applications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must-have skill
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment background investigation

Responsibilities
- Review solicitation requirements and develop compliant and responsive Cost Proposals
- Develop complex cost models, identify required inputs, gather data from various sources, and draft associated cost volume narrative
- Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and trends
- Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability
- Conduct pricing strategy sessions with business leads and develop pricing models consistent with those strategies
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations and laws regarding contract pricing
- Analyze and evaluate trade-offs on specific variables (share, margin, etc.)
- Applying modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability
- Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with business development team to execute pricing structure
- Assist in development of pricing strategy, and Price-to-Win analysis
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in federal government pricing is desired
- Experience with different contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQ, BPA) and various contract types (T&M, LH, CP, FFP) is desired
