ARETUM is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Business & Financial Analyst to assist with financial analysis, budgeting, funds control, and managing financial resources for their government clients. The company specializes in technology-enabled mission support services across various sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role
• Knowledge of federal financial management and funds control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments

Responsibilities

• Apply the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) to perform, reconcile, analyze and monitor financial activities
• Develop/advise on new or existing policies or procedures to improve accounting processes
• Independently manage key operational accounting activities
• Perform special projects and ad hoc support budgetary accounting, financial systems, and other fiscal operations support
• Perform the agency's 'Monthly Execution Report (MER) by object classification code
