Junior Consultant

Summary

The job is for a Junior Consultant at Ekimetrics' new Shanghai office, working on challenging international projects with diverse industries, performing data analysis, building bespoke solutions, and growing professionally. The candidate should have a relevant degree, 1-2 years of experience in Data Analysis/Modelling, proficiency in Putonghua and English, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.

Requirements

• Graduates of Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering or a related analytical field. Outstanding record of academic achievements
• 1-2 years of experience in Data Analysis/Modelling/Advanced Analytics to answer business questions; relevant internship experience in data science will be an advantage
• Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, SQL, etc
• Proficient with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Consulting experience or interest in working as a consultant
• Strong interest in marketing & business issues
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• High proficiency in Putonghua and English

Responsibilities

• Working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries
• Performing data analysis and building bespoke solutions to address client challenges

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in APAC languages is a plus (Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, etc)
