Junior Data Analyst

Summary

Join our Renewables & Power Analyst Team in Trinidad & Tobago as a data analyst, responsible for collecting and analyzing power data, creating dashboards, and contributing to the development of Rystad Energy's products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize the collection and cleaning of power data (from sources such as the EIA or ISOs), using web crawlers where appropriate
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for internal and external analysis
• Work closely with our local Renewables and Power team to understand and support our clients’ data needs
• Ensure data integrity and analyze the data with statistical methods
• Use internal and external data to develop models and simulators of physical and economic systems for use in internal products (e.g. power system modelling and price forecasting)
• Contribute to the continued development of some of Rystad Energy’s Cube products
• Communicate results internally and support our external customers; translate client’s strategic thinking into actionable goals together with Product Managers and Analysts
