Summary
Join Octopus Deploy's dynamic marketing team as a Junior Digital Marketer and play a key role in content marketing and digital presence. This role offers hands-on experience in various digital marketing disciplines, working with cutting-edge DevOps and deployment automation content. You will manage the content publishing process, support SEO initiatives, and contribute to demand generation efforts. The position is remote but requires UK residency. The role involves content management, newsletter operations, SEO implementation, landing page creation, demand generation support, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements
- Have at least 6-12 months of hands-on experience working in a digital marketing role, preferably within a B2B SaaS organization
- Have strong writing and editing abilities with attention to detail and ability to work with technical content
- Have basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, with eagerness to learn more advanced techniques
- Have comfort working with data and metrics to measure performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Have demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced technology environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Responsibilities
- Manage our content publishing process
- Support SEO initiatives
- Contribute to our demand generation efforts
- Oversee our blog and learning center content, including light editing and optimization of articles from our technical subject matter experts
- Manage our regular newsletter by adding content to templates, coordinating sends, and analyzing performance metrics and engagement data
- Work alongside our agency partners to execute SEO and GEO recommendations, including technical improvements, link management, content optimization, and landing page enhancements
- Build and optimize campaign and marketing landing pages to support various marketing initiatives and improve conversion rates
- Assist with demand generation campaigns and initiatives to drive qualified leads and support our sales pipeline
- Monitor and report on key metrics across all digital marketing activities to inform strategy and optimization efforts
- Work closely with content creators, designers, and other marketing team members to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience working in a remote environment and with teams across different time zones
- Experience with website content management systems such as WordPress, Storyblok, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or Marketo
