Junior Financial Controller

Summary

Join D-ploy, an IT and Engineering Solutions company, as a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Controller to contribute to financial data accuracy, process automation, and project financial management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / data modelling (eg VBA and macros)
• Experience with an ERP appreciated
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to make models out of complex data sets
• Collaborative attitude, eager to learn, and willing to support other team members when needed
• Fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Support the project controller with project performance analysis, variance analysis, and reporting
• Monitor project costs and identify potential risks
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large sets of financial data to provide insights that support decision-making processes
• Develop and maintain automated financial models and reports to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks using tools such as Excel, VBA
• Assist in financial forecasting processes, including gathering input from various departments and integrating data into coherent models
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing streamlined financial processes documentation and best practices
• Provide support on special projects and ad hoc analysis
