Summary

Ema Unlimited is hiring a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of their platform and infrastructure. The role involves contributing to multi-tenant SaaS solutions on GCP and Azure using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Istio, and participating in deploying testing frameworks. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or a related technical role.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and development of Multi-tenant SaaS solutions on GCP, Azure utilizing Kubernetes, Anthos, Helm, Terraform, and Istio
  • Aid in automating infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
  • Assist in architecting and implementing observability solutions
  • Help monitor system health through real-time alerting systems
  • Support efforts in identifying and remediating infrastructure vulnerabilities to uphold security and compliance standards
  • Participate in the deployment of testing frameworks, such as TestKube, to ensure comprehensive end-to-end, integration, and system testing
  • Work closely with the software development team to optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve service interfaces
  • Monitor system performance, assist in analyzing performance metrics, and support enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with any cloud provider and basic understanding of cloud-based infrastructures
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes basics is a good-to-have
  • Exposure to SaaS architectures and cloud technologies
  • Basic understanding of user authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders
