Requirements

• 8+ years practice in Software Testing
• 6+ years experience in Manual Testing (Web, Mobile, API)
• 4+ years experience in Automation Testing (Web, Mobile, API)
• Knows the basics of working with databases (MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ MongoDB)
• Web-based automation tools, including Selenium/Robot Framework
• API automation tools, including Postman, Newman, RestAssured
• Experienced in CI/CD tool. Able to set up from scratch as well as doing pipeline maintenance is a plus
• Test cases management tools like Test Rail

Responsibilities

• Partners with PO/stakeholder/user/engineers to understand the requirements and perform quality testing, create test documentation and/or contribute to overall system output
• Works with QA Manager on test assessment, strategy, define and track quarterly QA roadmap
• Performs functional and regression testing on Test and Staging environments
• Guides and advises junior-mid QA engineers
• Creates manual and automated test reports to track and demonstrate test output
• Can be tasked with taking the QA technical lead on projects together with a Senior/Lead Software Engineer and working closely with product owners to deliver on features
• Helps in developing and improving operational efficiency of the team
• Evaluates feature/upgrade/change requests and recommends courses of action for testing strategy
• Assess features and deliverables and provide estimates for delivery
• Reviews test scripts, cases, scenarios, written by others and hold fellow engineers to test quality standards
• Provides technical support for production issues
• Helps release, test and support during production roll out

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge in Performance Testing is a plus
• Knowledge in Security Testing is a plus
