Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of blockchain technology, Ethereum, and smart contracts
  • Previous hands-on experience in smart contract development
  • Proficiency in Solidity
  • Understanding of gas optimization techniques and contract security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about complex technical issues
  • Detail-oriented with a careful approach to writing code, with a focus on security and efficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction within the team and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed, culturally diverse team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts using Solidity
  • Enhance our CI/CD pipelines on GitHub, automating workflows to maintain the highest standards of security and code quality
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and security
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the robustness of our smart contracts, optimizing gas consumption for efficiency
  • Investigate failing transactions, identify the root cause and create fixes
  • Contribute to technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with non-EVM smart contract ecosystems and/or Huff programming is a plus
  • Experience working with/for a major DeFi protocol is a plus
  • Contributions to Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) or other blockchain initiatives are a plus
