Junior Software Engineer - Cohort

Summary

Join our Engineering training program as a recent graduate with a Computer Science degree or coding bootcamp completion! This 8-week intensive program includes technical training, leadership development opportunities, and hands-on experience working with industry-leading experts.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters level degree in Computer Science or successful completion of relevant bootcamp coursework
• Graduation/completion date no later than May 2025
• Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems
• Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming and software engineering
• Produce high quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks
• Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgement and problem solving skills
• Master Koddi’s development standards from developing to releasing code in order to take on tasks and projects with increasing levels of complexity
• Actively seek and give feedback in alignment with Koddi's Performance Philosophy
• Experience in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
• Experience programming in two or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Go, Python, Typescript or similar
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
• Excited to attain hands-on experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Availability to be onsite for the duration of the program Monday-Friday in our Fort Worth office
• Availability to work Full Time after the training program

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
• Experience with web application development, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, or security software development
