Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Anthropology, Design, Social Sciences, HCI or a related field)
- 1-3 years of experience in User research or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in research operations, including participant recruitment, scheduling, data organization, and managing research tools, with the ability to streamline workflows and support efficient study execution
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing, etc.)
- Ability to assist in creating journey maps, affinity maps and other UX research artefacts
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data to extract actionable insights
- Proficiency in at least one Indian languages such as Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam (in addition to English)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Empathy for the users and an understanding of their challenges
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research across a wide range of projects, from farmer-facing apps to our expanding SaaS and data solutions for agri-tech, insurance companies, banks, and more
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to ensure that our digital products are user-centered and meet the diverse needs of our users
- Assist in creating journey maps, affinity maps and other UX research artefacts
- Analyze and synthesize data to extract actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in primary and secondary research
- Familiarity with agricultural practices and the challenges or prior experience working in the agriculture sector, rural development, or related research domains
- Knowledge of tools like Figma, Miro, or similar design collaboration platforms
- Understanding of quantitative research methods and data analysis
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Proficiency in tools like Notion, Asana, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and research tools (like SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Maze, UXCam, Dovetail, etc.)
