K-12 District Engagement Advocate

Summary

Join Canva's team as a K-12 District Engagement Advocate and redefine how the world experiences design. This fully remote role, based in Canada, focuses on owning the school district/school board lifecycle, fostering relationships with district administration, and serving as a Canva for Education ambassador. You will provide value to customers and Canva, understand the Canva user lifecycle, identify trends and usage patterns, and drive retention and engagement. The role requires experience in the Canadian K-12 education market, customer success, and strong communication and business planning skills. Requirements

• Experience with the Canadian K-12 Education Market. You understand classroom efficiency solutions and are able to communicate with instructional technology specialists and teachers on how Canva can improve student learning outcomes through design and collaboration
• Customer Success Expertise. You are comfortable driving retention and fostering engagement with software solutions at a district level
• Excellent Collaboration skills. You enjoy working alongside your direct team as well as with cross-functional teams
• Experience with Implementing new Technologies. You have a deep understanding of how schools roll out new technologies and how district-wide deployments are most effective
• Effective Communication skills. You create clarity through your communication by making complex things simple. You can confidently present your ideas and tell a compelling story to customers and the broader team
• Strong Business Planning Skills. You have the ability to move from planning all the way through to implementation and complete projects that deliver high impact
• Fluent in written and spoken French. You are comfortable interacting in a business context in Canadian French, in order to support the portion of your book of business that prefers to communicate in this language

Responsibilities

• Own the school district/school board lifecycle. You'll own strategy, prospecting, planning, onboarding, execution, and results within identified districts and boards
• Foster relationships with district/board administration. You'll be responsible for managing the relationships with the key stakeholders and decision-makers at districts and boards and getting them what they need, be it technical documentation and support, onboarding help, teacher development resources, Canva tips and tricks, and strategic guidance
• Serve as an ambassador of Canva for Education with teachers and educators at managed districts and boards
• Provide value to customers and to Canva. You'll run a healthy and predictable business that delivers a jointly agreed customer transformation strategy focused on educational outcomes within districts and boards
• Understand the Canva user lifecycle. You'll establish close relationships with our passionate community of educators and learners to know first-hand what they need to become successful Canva users
• Identify trends and usage patterns. You'll utilize data analysis to shape your strategic approach to sales and account management, and to note emerging trends to share with Canva’s Sales & Success, Product, and Marketing teams
• Drive retention and engagement. You'll continuously test, learn, and iterate on our lifecycle strategy at our identified districts and boards to build meaningful and impactful relationships

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Community Management. You understand social media standard processes and tactics for educating audiences
