Key Account Manager, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job involves managing institutional clients, building and maintaining relationships with them to increase trading volumes, and working closely with internal teams to assist clients in resolving issues. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a business development role focusing on product and sales, prior experience in a crypto exchange or related field, and excellent communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus). Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development role focusing on product and sales
• Prior experience in a crypto exchange, investment firm, institutional brokerage, or electronic trading firm
• Proven track record in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
• A resourceful self-starter and tenacious problem-solver, willing to roll up one’s sleeves to meet client needs and improve client experience
• Passionate about the crypto industry
• Detail-oriented, results-focused individual who can work with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal/ written communication and presentation skills. English is required, Mandarin would be a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Build and source for liquidity of Products on the Gate.io Platform
• Manage some of Gate.io 's largest institutional clients, as well as stable accounts onboarded by the Business Development team
• Build and maintain successful long-term relationships with existing clients, retaining and constantly looking for ways to grow and improve trading volumes
• Proactively monitor the competitor landscape and work with the product and marketing teams to iterate the overall strategy
