Summary

Join Juul Labs as a Key Account Manager and contribute to eliminating combustible cigarettes. Working directly with the National Chain Director and collaborating with Regional Sales teams, you will maximize sales opportunities at major retail chains. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies, managing chain customers, creating category leadership programming, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Success requires managing agreements and contracts, leveraging data analysis, and driving sales execution. The position demands strong sales leadership, communication, and analytical skills, along with experience in the consumer products industry, preferably tobacco or vaping. Midwest/West residency is required.

Requirements

  • Key Account Sales experience, preferably in the consumer products industry
  • Proven sales leadership ability with advanced business development skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Analytical working knowledge using IRI and Nielsen to provide retail customers with fact-based category insights to elevate sales leadership position
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Highly self-motivated, results oriented, and ability to drive category leadership sales execution
  • Strong internal and external customer orientation with the ability to succeed in a team environment
  • Highly adaptable and inherently motivated to develop a portfolio growth strategy within the industry
  • Industry experience in Tobacco or Vaping categories
  • Sales and/or Trade Marketing Management experience
  • Understanding of the Juul customer and vapor industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

Responsibilities

  • Manage National and Regional Chain Accounts as assigned
  • Work across internal departments to resolve all customer issues
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing and Category Leadership team to develop custom Chain Retail Programming to drive rate of sale and incremental product placement within these retail chains
  • Develop and deliver successful retail programming partnerships that maximize ROI sales budget management in mind
  • Effectively communicate with internal departments and retail customers to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Work with internal departments to renew Retail Partner contracts
  • Routine management of sales execution and compliance of agreements/contracts with retail chain accounts
