Summary
Join Malt, Europe's leading freelance marketplace, as a highly experienced Business Developer/Key Account Manager specializing in the Financial Services industry. You will manage large accounts, develop new business, and prospect new clients, focusing on insurance and banking. This role requires a strategic approach to identifying and developing new customers and expanding the current portfolio. You will work in a fast-paced, challenging environment within a rapidly growing scale-up. The position is based in Madrid with potential travel. Requirements
- Educated to degree level, with a minimum 3 -5 years experience in a commercial B2B role
- Totally fluent in Spanish (native level) and fluent in English
- Experienced in the world of recruitment (Staffing or SSII ) or digital, SaaS, IT & Services
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curious with intellectual agility
- Ability to understand the issues and objectives given by customers to offer the best approach
- Strong ability to negotiate, forecast sales, speed of execution and organization
- Team spirit is a must
Responsibilities
- Develop new business within large existing clients in the Financial Sector with a “solution selling” mind set
- Develop a strategic approach to identify and prospect new stakeholders, being able to approach C - Level interlocutors
- Manage large accounts, helping them understand the value of working with freelancers and (specifically) Malt
- Working as a team to developing the business in Spain, sharing best practices with each other and the teams in Europe
- Prospecting and developing a portfolio of large accounts with a "solution selling" mindset, achieving the targets in terms of sales and quality KPIs
- Helping your customers to find the best freelancers for their need
- Using our sales stack (MEDDIC, Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator /our back office, Slack, Looker) to structure your approach and increase your efficiency
- Using feedback from the market and your customers to share feedback with the marketing and product teams to continuously evolve the product
Preferred Qualifications
- Other languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of the Insurance industry is a plus
- Previous experience working in the Insurance sector (either directly or as an agency / consulting firm)
- Own portfolio of contacts on the C-level is highly appreciated
