Summary

Join Fastly's International Account Management Team as a Key Account Manager Country Lead in Singapore! This role is crucial for managing and growing customer relationships in Southeast Asia. You will be responsible for driving revenue, managing renewals, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strong customer connections. Success hinges on delivering value to customers and fostering strong internal and external collaborations. This remote position requires strong communication, technical understanding, and experience in enterprise customer management within the technology sector, particularly CDN/Cyber Security. Travel within Southeast Asia, EMEA, and the US is required.

Requirements

  • At least 5-8 years of enterprise customer management experience in a technology firm with a focus on retention and growth
  • Thrive in a multi-tasking environment, with an ability to adjust priorities: Able to complete customer facing and internal projects on-time with high quality
  • Be independent, self-disciplined and possess strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess strong project management skills, high detail orientation and exceptional organization skills: Comfortable developing and implementing multi-step plans and coordinating the appropriate stakeholders
  • Provide clear communication to develop customer relationships. Able to tailor messaging based on the recipient. Ensure communication is tracked for cross-functional visibility
  • Demonstrate strong customer service; professional and friendly demeanor: Built-to-serve mentality. Respect customer's time and use meetings to provide value. Do not shy away from hard conversations
  • Have previous experience within the CDN/Cyber Security industry
  • Be a Collaborative Partner: Bring ideas to the team for learning. Internal partners enjoy working with him/her. Internal advocacy carries weight
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field of study
  • Be fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Possess strong negotiation and problem-solving skill to address client challenges and identify mutually beneficial solutions

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue across your customers
  • Drive renewals to a successful close and generate interest and opportunities across Fastly’s product portfolio through cross-selling our product portfolio
  • Identify, qualify and close opportunities for customer growth and strategise on and close complex renewals using data in tools such as Looker
  • Map a complex organization and develop and execute against a strategy
  • Develop strong customer connections with executive stakeholders across multiple business units and levels within a company
  • Create thoughtful and creative retention strategies, maximizing Fastly value, tying all conversations to business impact, and incorporating account strategy goals
  • Be a clear and confident communicator who enjoys meeting customers in the field
  • Utilize consultative discussions to uncover customer pain points and understand how Fastly can address them
  • Be highly effective at administrative tasks such as forecasting (Salesforce) and building accurate Service Orders using multiple stakeholders across Deal Desk, Legal, Compliance and Contracts
  • Build business reviews that deliver value to customers; introducing SMEs, Product Leadership and Executives where appropriate
  • Consistently share knowledge of industry, company, trends, and solutions
