Lead Analytics Engineer in Mexico

Summary

The Data team at InDebted develops machine learning models, AI solutions, BI solutions, and data transformation processes to accelerate disruption of traditional debt collection industry. The Lead Analytics Engineer will develop and deploy robust custom reporting data pipelines and file integration solutions.

Requirements

• Strong development skills in Python
• Experience writing SQL queries for extracting and processing data
• Experience with data structure and data modelling, as well as translating business requirements to fit the purpose
• Experience using Git version control
• Comfortable with a fast-paced working environment where priorities may change frequently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipelines using Python and associated orchestration tools and processes
• Deploy data pipelines following best practice DevOps principles and incorporating automated testing
• Lead, manage and mentor a team of analytics engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying data pipelines following best practice, including writing automated tests and setting up of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster and data processing frameworks
• Experience working with event-oriented data structures
• Familiarity with data transformation tools such as dbt
