Summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Lead Angular Software Engineer to work on SaaS products that manage business processes for energy efficiency, renewable energy, demands response, and conservation. The position is remote but requires occasional in-person office meetings. Candidates must reside in the United States.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of software development experience delivering high performance, reliable and scalable applications with: Angular 8+, TypeScript, JavaScript and SASS/CSS, HTML
  • 6+ years of proficiency and hands-on development with following languages, tools, frameworks, libraries: Angular 8+, TypeScript, JavaScript and SASS/CSS, HTML
  • Strong experience with UI/UX, responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Leverage SQL skills working MySQL or other RDBMS and Web Services (REST and SOAP) knowledge
  • Good understanding of AWS services and integrations
  • Experience with unit testing tools like Karma or Jasmine
  • Experience with Git for source control activities
  • Critical thinking, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the full software development life cycle of cloud-based enterprise software applications
  • Design and development of cloud native applications using Angular 8+, associated tools, framework and libraries
  • Solid understanding of UI development fundamentals and responsive design
  • Must be able to operate efficiently in an Agile and Scrum environment
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues to meet client needs
  • Ensure designs meet performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements
  • Contribute to code reviews and provide feedback on designs and code
  • Research, analyze, recommend, and integrate solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of commonly used java libraries (apache helpers, spring, hibernate)
  • Understanding of the maven build system and how multi jar projects fit together
