Lead Backend Engineer

Summary

Join Supermetrics as a Lead Backend Engineer (PHP) and contribute to building intuitive, user-centered experiences for enterprise users. Requirements

• 7+ years of back-end experience working with PHP (Core)
• Previous experience in a Tech Lead role
• Experience working with API integrations
• Ability to conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
• Good understanding of architecture & software design
• Good grasp of the software testing discipline
• Understanding of security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Fluent communication in English
• Ability to give effective feedback

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new features and functionalities for our customers
• Plan new initiatives and features
• Close collaboration and interaction with other teams
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards
• Support and share knowledge with your colleagues
• Improve systems monitoring and alerting
• Utilize existing monitoring tools to ensure system stability

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of monitoring tools and ability to interpret monitoring data. This includes tools such as Datadog, OpenSearch, Grafana, etc., which are used to track application performance and system metrics
