Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in BI or data analytics at a high-growth startup or tech company
- Expert-level SQL skills
- Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Hex, and Retool
- Able to identify business challenges based on metrics and analyses, and recommend solutions to improve business processes
- Balance analysis with decisive execution to avoid βanalysis paralysis.β
- Adept at translating complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable presenting to executives, business leaders, engineers, PMs, and peers
- Expert at crafting compelling data stories through visualizations
Responsibilities
- Enable business leaders to make data-driven decisions by translating their business needs into the appropriate analytical tools and metrics to answer strategic and operational questions such as identifying growth levers, diagnosing performance gaps, or evaluating initiative impact
- Scope, design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data models to enable self-service access to key metrics and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across teams
- Elicit and synthesize data-driven insights into clear narratives and recommendations that influence decision-making, including recurring business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and ad hoc deep dives
