Lead Engineer

Summary

Marigold Health is seeking an Engineering Leader to oversee their team and codebase as they scale their virtual mental health program. The role involves technical leadership, architecture and design, contributing to the company's technical strategy, maintaining a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the company's products, conducting code reviews, leading security, performance monitoring, optimization, delivery, workload estimation, sprint planning, documentation, process improvement, and working with a remote team. The ideal candidate has 4-9 years of engineering experience, at least 2 years in a lead role, healthcare tech experience, understanding of U.S. healthcare regulations, experience managing a remote team, strong analytical skills, high standards for DevOps, code quality, performance, and utilization, strong communication skills, and strong technical documentation skills.

Requirements

• 4-9 years of engineering experience in industry, with at least 2 years in a lead role managing others’ work output and at least 1 year of healthcare tech experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare regulations as they relate to building software, including HIPAA and HITRUST
• Experience with and interest in managing a remote team of software engineers across multiple time zones

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering team and codebase
• Improve the responsiveness, quality, scalability, and reliability of the technology offering
• Lead security for the platform
