Lead Engineer II

Summary

Join Stitch Fix's Frontend team as an experienced engineer to build the next generation of frontend tools and infrastructure. You will be a valuable member, guiding and developing infrastructure and tooling that directly supports product web development teams. Collaborate with a distributed team across the US using GitHub, Slack, and Zoom. Help develop new methods of collaborating with partners across Engineering, Design, and other teams. Solve problems using frontend technologies, including JavaScript, React, and CSS. Build high-quality solutions and be pragmatic about weighing project scope and value.

Requirements

• You have roughly 5+ years of professional programming experience

Responsibilities

• Guide, develop and grow infrastructure and tooling (such as the design system) that directly supports product web development teams
• Help us continue to develop new methods of collaborating with partners across Engineering, Design, and other teams
• Solve problems using frontend technologies, including JavaScript, React, and CSS
• Build high-quality solutions and are pragmatic about weighing project scope and value

Preferred Qualifications

• You might have prior experience working with design systems
• You might have prior experience with accessibility best practices
