Lead, Engineering Discovery

Join Fullscript's Discovery Engineering team as a Technical Lead! You will lead a small team of frontend and full-stack engineers, manage and grow your team, and architect projects. Responsibilities

• Lead our Discovery Engineering “pod” (A small team of frontend and full-stack engineers)
• Manage and grow your team of developers — direct reports
• Plan and architect projects, leading design discussions and decisions
• Craft and maintain a quarterly view of the roadmap that balances technical initiatives and product features
• Help meet company goals while maintaining our application's technical health and security
• Collaborate with product, design, and other technical leaders in product engineering, infrastructure, security, and more
• Contribute to the code base and work alongside engineers to take projects over the finish line

Preferred Qualifications

• Ruby, Rails, React, JavaScript, Graphql, and Apollo are preferred
• Experience with e-commerce at scale, operations, and distribution is considered an asset, specifically around search and discovery
• Experience working with search engines, such as Elasticsearch. Opensearch or Solr
