Summary

Join our team as a Lead Experience Researcher and play a critical role in understanding the needs of patients and medical practice staff in primary care settings, developing empathy for their day-to-day challenges, and informing how we craft digital interfaces and service workflows that simplify the inherent complexity of value-based care.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in user experience research, product research, usability testing, fieldwork or something similar
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in human-computer interaction, ethnography, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience managing a roadmap of user research projects across multiple, related domains
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. You can clearly articulate complex concepts and tailor your message to diverse audiences
  • A skilled project manager able to independently scope, facilitate, and execute projects, meet deadlines effectively, and adjust methods based on the budget and time available

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive research roadmap across multiple features connected to a broad product offering, in alignment with product goals and business needs
  • Expertly conduct foundational and evaluative user research activities. Analyze and synthesize data to uncover actionable insights
  • Communicate with impact by turning complex research findings into compelling stories, reports and presentations that resonate with stakeholders, executives, and product teams to influence design and product decisions
  • Collaborate with the other designers & researchers in the XDR practice to elevate human-centered design thinking and build team intuition about internal and external users
