Summary

The job is for a Lead Product Designer at Constant Contact who will develop UI and UX design best practices, collaborate with teams to create user-centered product designs, and mentor peers. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise designing solutions for software and web applications
  • 2+ years of experience designing mobile native apps is required to be successful in this role
  • Experience using industry standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma or Adobe XD, to create low- and high-fidelity designs and define the work
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent expertise in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of UI and UX design best practices, templates, and trainings to increase design knowledge and standards for the organization
  • Advise senior leaders on UI and UX initiatives and strategies
  • Collaborate with teams to create user-centered product designs, requirements, workflows and strategies
  • Create user experiences and interfaces for product prototypes in keeping with industry standards and best practices
  • Translate user needs and business requirements into compelling experiences
  • Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes across multiple devices and interfaces
  • Recommend metrics to define, manage, and measure design success and prioritize enhancements
  • Collaborate with leadership to support team member onboarding and growth

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in User Experience, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Information Architecture, Psychology, Human Computer-Interaction (HCI), Human Factors or a related field preferred
