Summary

Nansen is seeking an experienced Lead Product Designer to drive the design vision, set UX strategy, work hands-on as a designer, and manage a team. The role offers an opportunity to shape Nansen's product experience in a fast-paced industry.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing strong UX/UI skills and a taste for modern product aesthetics
• Previous leadership experience: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers
• Expertise in design tools: Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools, with experience in building and maintaining design systems
• Strong communication skills: Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, confidently present ideas to internal and external stakeholders, and incorporate feedback to refine your work
• Experience with user research: Strong background in leading user research initiatives and applying insights to drive design decisions
• Problem-solving mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and priorities
• Active interest in crypto: Experience or a strong curiosity about blockchain technology and crypto markets

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process across all Nansen products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to transform complex user stories and product requirements into simple, user-friendly, and delightful interfaces
• Conduct usability testing and gather insights to inform design decisions and enhance product offerings
• Prototype and animate using interactive prototypes and motion studies
• Help elevate and expand our visual language and design system, ensuring consistency across our website and product surfaces
• Find new and innovative ways to visualize data and improve how users interact with it
• Ensure flawless execution of your designs by working hand-in-hand with Engineers, providing comprehensive documentation throughout the process
• Integrate AI tools into your design process to enhance productivity and creativity
• Mentor and lead a small team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation
• Ensure Nansen remains at the cutting edge of design by integrating innovative tools and processes into our workflows
