Summary
Join Invert's Product team as a Lead Product Designer and bridge the gap between product vision and technical execution. You will partner with product managers, provide engineering support, and evolve product features. Conduct UX research, create designs, and communicate effectively across teams. This role requires 5+ years of experience in product design, a strong portfolio, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably with a focus on software or SaaS platforms
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and process, ideally on information intensive or data heavy products
- Proven ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive, accessible designs
- Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers in an agile environment
- Strong understanding of design systems, UX design, and designing web-based products in responsive designs (low resolution laptops to high resolution monitors)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for design decisions
Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers to articulate and materialize ideas into actionable Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and design strategies
- Provide detailed direction and specifications to engineering teams to ensure implementation addresses important design decisions and UX challenges
- Critique, review, and ideate on ways to enhance product features, user experience, and overall design integrity
- Conduct external UX research to stay ahead of design trends, and take part in direct user research to build a deep understanding of user needs and use cases in the life sciences domain
- Ideate on concepts in early product development, create wireframes and user flows for specific features, and help ensure consistency with our existing design system
- Act as the design voice in cross-functional meetings, ensuring design considerations are integrated into product and development discussions
