Remote Lead Product Designer

Requirements

• Significant demonstrated experience with end-to-end (hybrid UX and UI) product design for consumer facing products
• High level interaction and visual design skills, with exceptional understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color theory and prototyping
• A craft obsessed designer who strives for quality and has an amazing attention to detail
• The ability to lead design for important projects with experience delegating work and giving direction to other designers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you should be able to clearly articulate your design decisions and the logic behind them)
• The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision (not just 'how it should look' but 'what we should build')
• Experience in building and shipping applications or software (mobile/web)
• Must have a portfolio featuring examples of design work

Responsibilities

• Design high quality interactive experiences across mobile, both iOS and Android
• Lead projects throughout the entire design process; from creative conception to production and release
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to help define the roadmap and execute to achieve business objectives
• Give feedback/direction to other designers to continually push the level of quality on the team
• Take part in defining a design system to be used across multiple products and platforms
• Evaluate current processes, identify best practices, develop plans to reach goals and implement improvements
