Summary
Join Slice as a Lead Product Manager and spearhead product development within the rapidly growing Consumer Commerce team. This critical role focuses on topline revenue generation for our shop partners by improving, iterating, and building new products connecting shops and consumers. You will be responsible for a portfolio of features, accountable for the entire product lifecycle, and identify new investment areas. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Design, Go-To-Market, and Operations, and directly manage a small team. This is a top-level Product role reporting to the Head of R&D. The ideal candidate possesses extensive product management experience in commerce or consumer marketplaces, strong leadership skills, data analysis capabilities, and a passion for design thinking.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years of Product Management experience within a commerce or consumer market place domain
- A strong track record as a high performing individual contributor
- Direct line management experience of Product Management colleagues
- Experience both in analysing data to help develop hypotheses and then constructing experiments to test them
- Experience in driving business outcomes, as opposed to shipping features
- Demonstrated experience using some kind of product analytics tool
- Clear passion for Design Thinking and being a partner to Product Design
- Meticulous in taking care of the details and demonstrating end-to-end ownership of work
- Fluent in agile software development
Responsibilities
- Spearhead product development within the Consumer Commerce team
- Improve, iterate and build new products that serve as the direct connection between shops and their pizza loving consumers
- Be responsible for a coherent portfolio of features
- Be accountable for the entire product lifecycle
- Identify new areas of investment (new projects) for the product or area
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders such as Design, Go-To-Market and Operations
- Have direct line management and leadership responsibilities for a small team
- Define simple, elegant solutions from understanding user needs and identifying when they may need to seek further research
- Be the product expert for Consumer Commerce with a deep understanding of the users, market, and technology
- Foster innovation across the whole team by creating space for it to happen
