Summary
Join ICE Consulting, a leading Managed IT Services company, as a Lead Systems Engineer. You will play a key role in managing complex IT projects, working closely with consulting teams to ensure successful execution. Your responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring timelines and risks, analyzing data, and making informed recommendations. This position offers the flexibility of being based in Milpitas or working remotely. You will be involved in deploying, integrating, and maintaining on-premise and cloud-based systems. Requirements
- Strong experience with Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS services
- Proven skills in installing, configuring, and managing VMWare infrastructures
- Experience with enterprise storage solutions such as NetApp
- In-depth knowledge of Veeam backup software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 and G Suite administration, especially in complex environments
- Knowledge of Office 365 applications, including Azure Directory
- Experience in SSO/MFA integration with cloud services such as Office 365 and G Suite
- Familiarity with MDM solutions, preferably Workspace One
- Proficient in Windows PowerShell, particularly in relation to Microsoft Azure and Exchange Server
- Strong fundamentals in systems engineering and platform architecture
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail
- Experience in implementing Office 365 in medium-sized environments
- Knowledge of email security principles and best practices
- Minimum 5 years of Systems Administration experience
- At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft 365, including migrations
- Professional demeanor with the ability to take complete ownership of tasks and deliver results on time
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee complex IT projects
- Work closely with consulting teams
- Ensure projects are executed successfully by communicating effectively, managing budgets, and monitoring project timelines and risks
- Analyze data, make informed recommendations, and drive solutions based on your understanding of both technical and business needs
- Deploy, integrate, and maintain both on-premise and cloud-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AWS and AWS backup solutions is a plus
- Familiarity with patch management and image building (experience with MDT preferred)
