Requirements
- Has a Bachelor's and/or Masterβs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in treasury reconciliations or similar financial roles
- Has work experience with SQL or other data analysis tools
- Experience with reconciliation software, preferably BlackLine, Kyriba, Modern Treasury or similar
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily reconciliation tasks, including: bank account reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations, cash flow reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
- Lead and develop a team through regular meetings and performance management
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, and Accounting teams on various projects
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including: implementation and optimization of reconciliation software, streamlining reconciliation processes, and developing automated reconciliation tools
- Enhance internal controls and audit trails. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Support the implementation of new financial products and services by ensuring proper reconciliation procedures are in place
- Drive process improvements and automation efforts in reconciliation operations
- Assist in enhancing financial reporting accuracy and timeliness
