Lead Workday Integrations Consultant

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Interface Architect and oversee the management and maintenance of system integrations within our HR/Finance system and middleware architecture. You will provide support for Workday integrations, incident management, and integration monitoring, ensuring data accuracy and application integrity. This role involves setting the technical direction, establishing best practices, and overseeing the implementation of mission-critical interfaces. You will play a pivotal role in enabling seamless data exchange and driving innovation within our integrated healthcare systems. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience and 5 years of experience in interface architecture and programming. Leadership skills, extensive proficiency in interface technologies, and excellent communication are essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Required)
• Relevant experience in interface architecture beyond the minimum required work experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a 1-1 ratio (one year of relevant work experience equals one year of required education)
• 5 years' experience in interface architecture and programming
• Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others
• Extensive proficiency in relevant interface technologies and tools
• Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding technical teams and setting architectural direction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with executive stakeholders
• A thought leader in the interface space, possessing extensive experience in architecting and implementing complex interface solutions
• Skilled in leading and mentoring interface teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
• Proficient in interface design patterns and best practices, ensuring scalable and maintainable interface solutions
• Strategic and forward-thinking, driving innovation and continuously improving interface capabilities
• An influential communicator, effectively presenting interface strategies and outcomes to executive stakeholders
• Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and maintenance of system integrations within the HR/Finance system and middleware architecture
• Provide support for Workday inbound and outbound integrations, incident management, and integration monitoring
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, and problem resolution
• Set the technical direction and establish best practices
• Oversee the successful implementation of mission-critical interfaces
• Enable seamless data exchange, drive innovation, and achieve optimal performance for integrated healthcare systems
• Manage all aspects of interface projects and work closely with internal department teams on status, issues, and communications
• Map standard interface functionality to business specifications
• Manage interface definition and configuration along with business process teams
• Manage all aspects of interface rollout and coordination with department teams
• Define specifications for data interfaces between applications for product rollouts
• Resolve interface issues reported from user acceptance testing
• Provide technical support for implemented interfaces; diagnosing and reporting defects, applying patches and upgrades as needed
• Coordinate with functional departments and IR team members involved to collect system specifications, techniques, and controls
• Interact with senior management within the department and business units
