Leadership Instructor

Summary

Join Correlation One as a Lead Instructor and deliver high-quality, live, virtual instruction in operations leadership. You will conduct large synchronous online lectures, prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions, and collaborate with operations personnel. The program runs from June 10, 2025, to October 2, 2025, with lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This remote role requires 4+ years of experience in leadership and development, experience teaching leadership skills, and strong communication skills. You'll be responsible for managing class Q&A, maintaining learner engagement, and contributing to course improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and mentoring, possesses a data-driven mindset, and thrives in a dynamic start-up environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in leadership and development or operations leadership type role
• Experience teaching content focused on leadership skills, conflict resolution, collaboration, people management, and time management
• Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
• Data-driven mindset and results-oriented
• Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic start-up environment with a lean team
• Comfortable working remotely, independently, and self-motivated to succeed

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for a range of Fellows, with a target learner audience of 500 total learners who can attend one of two weekly lectures
• Deliver instruction on key concepts related to Operations Leadership areas, tailoring content to match skills and interests
• Oversee the management of class time Q&A and monitor chat flow, and overall class energy and engagement dynamics
• Collaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules
• Be flexible in contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules vary
• Assist in lesson design, development, and improvement which may include tracking edits, suggestions, or changes to curriculum as needed
• Interact professionally with Fellows, Correlation One staff, additional contractors, and guest speakers, maintaining a high level of courtesy and respect
• Diligently and adequately prepare for lectures to ensure the delivery of high-quality content
• Be highly responsive and empathetic to Fellows, providing thoughtful answers and assistance throughout the lesson
• Adjust the lesson pace and presentation to meet the needs of diverse Fellows while also maintaining responsibility for timely delivery of the prepared content
• Exhibit an energy, pacing, and ability to make complex topics accessible and maintain strong learner engagement
• Communicate respectfully, recognizing that online or written communication may lack tone
• Maintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel
• Foster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning
• Contribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in roles similar to Amazon’s Process Assistant role, Team Lead roles, Shift Supervisor positions, and other workplace leadership roles will be helpful when being considered for this role
• Supervision roles that have developed your skills around positively leading a team effectively and proficiency in administrative tasks
• Comfortable to be able to leave live breakout sessions and provide instant feedback
• Passionate about improving processes, self improvement and research
