Summary

Join Oscar, a health insurance company built on technology, as a Learning Design & Strategy Manager. You will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge for high-quality service. This role involves overseeing training delivery across various modalities, developing evaluation methods, ensuring regulatory compliance, mentoring a team, and managing complex projects. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in clinical or non-clinical operations-based learning and development
  • 4+ leading and developing direct reports
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering training programs using various modalities, including e-learnings and microlearnings
  • 3+ years of experience in managing complex projects, including resource allocation, and timeline adherence
  • 3+ years of experience in leading change management initiatives related to training programs
  • 2+ years experience in analyzing data and leveraging insights to drive program effectiveness and measured ROI improvements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of training programs through various modalities, including in-person, microlearnings, and LMS platform modules
  • Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training program, including data collection and analysis, to drive improvements in training outcomes
  • Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of training professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals
  • Manage complex projects and roadmaps, including resource allocation and timeline development and adherence
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in education and training
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in adult education or a related field
  • BSN or Social Worker degree
  • Instructional Design Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
