Summary
Join Sand Cherry Associates as a Program Manager for a short-term (2-3 months, potential extension) remote consulting project focused on Learning and Development program management for a large enterprise. You will evaluate, enhance, and digitize training programs and processes, developing roadmaps and optimizing workflows. This role demands strong program management skills, executive presence, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in program/project management within large organizations, particularly in the L&D space. Compensation is $85-90/hour (1099).
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 6-7 years of project or program management experience managing multiple workstreams, ideally in large companies in the Learning and Development space
- Possess Learning and Development and Project Management experience
- Have proven knowledge of project and program management methodology
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills to stakeholders including the ability to influence, strategize and negotiate and present materials succinctly
- Have the ability to think analytically and process information quickly, presenting it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives
- Have a minimum of 7 years of program/project management experience and experience with formal project management methodology
- Have experience working with stakeholders across a large and complex organization
- Have Management or Business Consultant experience
- Possess strong analytical, documentation and reporting skills
- Have strong proficiency with PPT, Smartsheet and Excel
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, or related field
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, hands-on program management efforts to evaluate, address and create new programs, materials and processes
- Plan and execute deliverables and drive results of a complex program with multiple locations
- Document program deliverables utilizing PMI or PMP methodology
- Integrate business policies and governance processes into planning & accountability for project roadmaps and execution strategy
- Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective measurements
- Partner with cross-functional resources to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Facilitate, document, and lead project meetings and manage stakeholders’ communication
- Build regular project status documents for executive leadership teams
- Identify program KPIs to assess impact
- Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project deliverables
- Own overall integrated project plan and manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and achievement of business goals
- Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Preferred Qualifications
- Have PMP certification
- Have experience in the L&D function understanding training programs and processes
