Summary

Join data.world's Education and Training program as a Part-Time Contract Learning Experience Designer! You will build and maintain a video content catalog, create curriculum resources, and collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging training materials for customers and partners. This role requires experience in creating learning resources within SaaS or related fields, utilizing various audience learning requirements, and understanding accessibility standards. Strong design skills using Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency with various software are essential. The ideal candidate is a creative, driven learning professional who enjoys project-based work and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of building learning resources within SaaS, data catalog software, or adjacent fields
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of audience learning requirements and tailor content as needed (including varying customers and partners)
  • Hands-on experience or a strong understanding of accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.0) and a passion for creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences for all users
  • Excellent design skills using Adobe creative suite, including Premiere Pro and Illustrator, and Canva to create engaging videos and descriptive graphics
  • Ability to self-manage projects and workload while collaborating with technical teams to create training materials for varying levels of customer and partner audiences
  • Approaches ambiguity with a positive, β€œcan-do” attitude to navigate an evolving learning environment
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership to articulate capacity planning with the ability to prioritize multiple projects across a variety of topics
  • Proficiency with Mac, Google Docs, and Slack as your daily work platform
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and visual communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a catalog of product and thought-leadership focused video content
  • Create curriculum resources for use with customers by both internal and external teams
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to distill technical information into terms that non-technical users can understand and implement
  • Work within an LMS to publish and manage content

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an administrator with Skilljar (or similar learning management systems)
  • Demonstrated experience being a strong facilitator or interest in developing facilitation skills
  • An understanding of how enterprise data solutions are managed and secured at scale
