Learning Experience Designer

Join Kognity as a Learning Experience Designer and help revolutionize education! You will design, develop, and implement effective learning experiences aligned with educational standards, primarily supporting Kognity's NGSS-based High School product. Your work will focus on assessing pedagogical approaches, defining learning design strategies, structuring the learning design process, and conducting research. Requirements

• Strong familiarity with NGSS and inquiry-based learning, either as a teacher or as a Learning Experience Designer for NGSS curricula
• Experience designing instructional materials and strategies that meet the needs of K-12 learners within NGSS curricula, including differentiation, assessment, and evaluation
• Collaboration and communication skills: The ability to work effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and students, as well as communicate complex ideas and information clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

• Assess our pedagogical approach to supporting education to ensure alignment with learning design standards and frameworks, specifically NGSS
• Define and codify our catalogue of learning design strategies; principles, flows, and different components
• Define and structure our learning design process to ensure a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and creativity, including active engagement with our customers
• Conduct generative and evaluative research using qualitative and quantitative methods; defining, planning, executing, analysing, and communicating insights
