Requirements
- Strong familiarity with NGSS and inquiry-based learning, either as a teacher or as a Learning Experience Designer for NGSS curricula
- Experience designing instructional materials and strategies that meet the needs of K-12 learners within NGSS curricula, including differentiation, assessment, and evaluation
- Collaboration and communication skills: The ability to work effectively with educators, administrators, parents, and students, as well as communicate complex ideas and information clearly and concisely
Responsibilities
- Assess our pedagogical approach to supporting education to ensure alignment with learning design standards and frameworks, specifically NGSS
- Define and codify our catalogue of learning design strategies; principles, flows, and different components
- Define and structure our learning design process to ensure a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and creativity, including active engagement with our customers
- Conduct generative and evaluative research using qualitative and quantitative methods; defining, planning, executing, analysing, and communicating insights
