Summary

Flow Traders is seeking a Legal Counsel with 3-7+ years of experience and a Master's degree in Law to join their team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the digital asset landscape and blockchain technologies. As a Legal Counsel, they will negotiate, draft, review, and advise on various legal agreements and collaborate with different departments. They will also co-develop standard operating procedures and policies.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of experience at a law firm or legal team of a bank / trading firm / investment firm
• Master degree in Law
• Entrepreneurial solution-driven mindset
• Comprehensive understanding of the digital asset landscape
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and flexible personality
• Proven analytical skills and the ability to translate between legal, commercial / technical implications quickly without being affected by (time) pressure
• Business-level proficiency in English
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Negotiate / draft / review and advise on a wide variety of topics / legal agreements ranging from exchange membership and platform access documentation to financial and trading agreements
• Collaborate and build strong working relationships with Trading, Technology, Risk and Operations, Regulatory Compliance and business development departments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the financial market ecosystem and the role of various players in it (CCPs, various types of platforms, clearing and settlement process) in general
• Knowledge of the ETP/ETF ecosystem
