Junior Legal Counsel in France

Summary

The job is for a Legal Counsel position in a carsharing platform company based in Paris. The role involves managing legal needs for European activities, focusing on contracts, litigations with consumers, ensuring GDPR compliance, providing legal advisory services, and staying updated on legal regulations.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 year of experience in a company (including internship), with experience in contract drafting and negotiation, consumer law (ideally including the management of claims/litigations with consumers) and GDPR compliance projects
• Fluency in French and English (oral and written), English being the working language

Responsibilities

• Drafting, revising, and reviewing various types of contracts (services, partnerships, parking spot sub-leasing etc)
• Participating in contract negotiations
• Contributing to improving and updating our contract templates
• Managing our contract base and administration (signature of the contracts, monitoring of deadlines, recording contracts in the database)
• Day-to-day legal advisory services to all business stakeholders on various types of legal matters
• Assistance in the management of the company’s litigations with consumers
• Ensure the company’s compliance with the GDPR
• Legal monitoring and performing legal researches on French and/or European and/or internal laws
