Summary
Join Airbnb's Tax team as a Legal Intern for the 2025 Summer Intern Program (May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025)! This is a remote-eligible position for first- or second-year law students interested in tax law. You will contribute to challenging projects, collaborating with team members and stakeholders. The internship offers opportunities to learn about various tax functions and gain practical experience in a dynamic environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate interest in tax law, possess excellent communication skills, and be adaptable. Visa sponsorship and relocation are not available; work authorization in the US is required.
Requirements
- Be a first-year student (1L) or second-year (2L) student enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited law school
- Demonstrate interest in tax/tax law as evidenced by the courses taken or previous experience in taxes/accounting
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized
- Be comfortable reaching out and initiating communication with various team members
- Be adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and interest in building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of the Tax team
- Have work authorization for employment in the United States (CPT/OPT is accepted)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
- Communicate with the tax team and other stakeholders to provide project updates
- Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
- Actively participate in and contribute to the Tax and broader Airbnb community
Preferred Qualifications
Have a passion for the Airbnb mission; experience with the platform is a plus!
